What should you do before your first date with her? Have you finally made the decision to cease casually hanging around girls and made the choice to start actually going on dates with them? This is great news, but now it’s time to plan out your first date, which can be intimidating for some. Although this process can be a path full of tough obstacles and possibly some awkwardness, if you have the right information, it will go smoothly. In order to help you through this process, and help you enjoy it as veil, here are your guidelines.
Be a Planner: We’ve mentioned this a few times already, but women love a guy who takes the initiative and knows how to plan things. This proves that you can think ahead, don’t doubt yourself, and are not too afraid to lead the situation. Instead of being shy or uncertain or asking her what she thinks you guys should do, take the lead. Since you were the one who asked her for a date, it’s your call to decide where to go.
Make sure your Car is Clean: When you take her for a date in the car, it has to be clean before she gets into it for your first date. Impressions are very important to women, and this includes your cleanliness. Some girls will actually look at your car and decide how you manage life, in general, based on that information. Seeing a messy car will lead her to assume that your house is also a disaster and that you might even be a slob. This is not the impression you want to create here. Take care of this by making sure your car is clean, smells nice, and has been vacuumed and washed thoroughly.
Have Cash on Hand: Before your date, go by a cash machine to make sure you have some money to cover anything that might crop up, including parking and the date itself.
Dress nicely: This one is pretty obvious: but it still needs to be said. When you take the time to look nice, you’re showing that you respect her enough to put some time and effort into your overall appearance. If you wear a band shirt and some old jeans, you are basically sending a message that you guess you want to be there, because there was nothing better happening. This doesn’t mean you need to wear a full on tuxedo, but look nice.
Let her Know what to Expect: Make sure your date knows exactly where you'll be going and what you’ll be doing. Most guys don't really put much thought into what they’ll wear and how they will look until right before they get ready to pick the woman up. Women, on the other hand, prefer to know what to expect so they can dress accordingly and have time to get ready and look nice. Call her ahead of time and let her know where you’ll be going, giving her a chance to dress appropriately for where you’ll be heading. Women are uncomfortable when they aren’t dressed correctly for the situation or occasion, so don’t let this happen to her.
