As jealousy is a kind of negative feeling, you need to get beyond this feeling. You need to replace jealousy with something positive instead. When you are inadequate in some way, you need to know where those inadequacies lie. For example, if you were jealous of the neighbor, why do you feel this way? Is it because the neighbor has more money than you? Is it because the neighbor seems to have more good luck than you? What you should be clear in mind is that you have no control over the things. What you can control is the way you look at life. There are always going to be the "haves" and "have nots" and no amount of jealousy will change that. You can make your life much more rewarding by accepting that what you have in life is determined by your own abilities. If your neighbor has more money than you do, it's something for you to strive for rather than to be jealous about.

When you find any inadequacies of yourself, jealousy doesn't gain you anything. Instead of being jealous, you can ask the helpf of mentors or have people that they respect and look up to as role models. Trying to emulate rather than being jealous will be of greater help and is actually a healthy way. Jealousy makes you want something that someone else has and that's all it is but it won't help you to achieve it. If you can replace this with plans that help you gain the things that you want, you strengthen your character and that's a lot better than weakening it by using something as negative as jealousy.

What does the saying "He doesn't deserve it, but I do." reflect?

A saying we frequently hear is "he doesn't deserve it, but I do." is really irritating, much as yuo may not want to hear it. There are probably things within your life that you don't deserve. If you are always jealous, you don't deserve friendships and relationships. It's far better to learn that life is unjust and that sometimes, others get things that they don't deserve, but by the same token, there are probably things in your life that you don't deserve. Stop making excuses for being a non-achiever. You'd better stop being jealous of achievers and instead start planning your way to success. Successful entrepreneurs get their fortune and positions by believing in themselves and in their abilities to overcome problems that get in the way of success instead of being jealous. You'd better learn from them.

Keep in mind that people succeed against all odds.

People succeed against all odds and then, when you put everything into perspective, your jealousy of your neighbor's new lawnmower is pretty feeble in comparison with the bigger picture. You just imagine, is it fair that you eat hardly anything but put on weight easily? Is it fair that your partner can eat chocolate in great quantities and not put on an ounce? Is it fair that you sleep every day and make a big fortune? Neither of these is fair.

How to get rid of the feeling of jealousy?

You won't find out what you're capable of until you let go of the feeling of jealousy. Because the jealousy blocks the path that you may otherwise find to equalize the situation a little. Once you drop the jealousy, you can work your way toward your own happiness instead of using your neighbor's possessions as your target in life. Make your own targets and decide for yourself what the priorities are and learn to stick to them. If you make mistakes, you need to learn from your wrong doing in life and make a conscious effort to change that. When you do, you'll find that people around you react in a totally different way than they would if you continued to show jealousy. The way you feel now is a consequence of the life you have chosen to live. You can switch off jealousy and start to embrace life and see the difference that it makes in your outlook. To get rid of the feeling of jealousy, you need to take a notebook and write down the things that you feel jealous about and then work your way back to the roots. You'd better reflect yourself by asking questions such as what makes you jealous? Whose fault is it that you are jealous? Much of what people don't realize is that all the negative feelings that you experience come from YOU, not from the neighbor who has more than you. Also they don't come from the boy who is better looking than you. What's wrong is the way that your mind looks at the world. All negative feelings are made within your mind and once you have worked out this point, your own perceptions are very important here. You shall remember that it's the way you see a situation rather than the way this situation really is. And you need to make actions to deal with you inadequacies.

When you raise questions to reflect yourself, you'd better write down the answers in your own perceptions. You cannot be someone else and you can't take that person's place. All you can do is to make the best of the person that you are. If you think otherwise, you need to get a reality check because no amount of negative feelings and jealousy will change the status quo. Changing your view will change everything for the better and will allow you to move forward without letting jealousy become your main focus in life.

You need to know where all these jealous feelings come from and stop them in their tracks because when you do, you'll find that you life yourself a lot more and you become better able to make friends and lasting relationships once you address all of your insecurities.
